Farmers State Bank
John Muse, President
Mountain City, Tennessee
12,000 total square feet
To alleviate pedestrian traffic issues for Farmers State Bank, Design Build Concepts built a new remote
drive-up facility at the rear of the lot, pulling customer parking closer to the bank’s entrance. Similar architectural elements
were used on the drive-up building and the main office to add interest, including metal awnings with decorative columns and
brackets. A pleasing courtyard complete with lush landscaping was incorporated to help create a town center ambiance for the
bank’s customers and employees.
To further improve the bank’s image from the back parking lot, DBC transformed the rear entryway into an
attractive main entrance leading into the newly added vestibule. The interior of the 12,000 square foot main office underwent
a functional renovation to increase efficiency and improve customer convenience and privacy. Through both the addition of the
drive-up facility and the renovation of the main office, DBC made the necessary aesthetic improvements to present an updated
appearance for the bank and the functional improvements to facilitate more efficient operations.
