Faced with the decision to build new or renovate their existing building, First National Bank &
Trust commissioned Design Build Concepts to administer an in-depth planning study. DBC
concluded that the bank’s current facility offered ample square footage to accommodate
future growth. By implementing a total renovation of their existing building, DBC saved the
bank the considerable costs of new construction.
The goals of improving their overall image and creating a stronger presence in the downtown
Atmore area were achieved with this traditional design, inspired by the deep South, which the
community has received with open arms.
